The Bavarian State Government has always cultivated good relations with foreign countries. Bavaria´s partners are countries and regions in its immediate vicinity, in Europe and indeed all over the world. The State Government acts as a door-opener and partner and opens up new paths to foreign markets, builds bridges between cultures and in doing so increases the location´s attractiveness. Cooperation covers a wide variety of fields that include public administration, the police force and judiciary, industry, science and technology, education, culture, language, the media, the environment, agriculture and public health.
This publication gives an overview of the current focal points in Bavaria´s international relations and shows, how Bavaria cultivates them.
